# Setting up your workspace (Beauty OS)

> Configure services, staff, and clients

## What is the workspace?

Your **workspace** is your organization in Jengo. It holds your services, staff, clients, appointments, workflows, and agents. One workspace per business or brand.

## Steps

### 1. Sign in

Open your Jengo URL and sign in. Confirm you’re in the right organization (e.g. name in the header or **Settings**).

### 2. Add services

* Go to **Directory** → **Services**.
* Click **Add service** (or **New service**).
* Enter name, price, duration, category, and optional description and image.
* Save. Add all services you offer so you can use them in appointments and with agents.

### 3. Add staff

* Go to **Directory** → **Staff**.
* Add each team member: name, role (e.g. stylist, receptionist), contact, and availability or working hours.
* You can refine schedules and specialties later. Staff can be assigned to appointments.

### 4. Add clients

* Go to **Directory** → **Clients**.
* Add clients as they book or as you migrate data: name, contact, optional notes and preferences.
* Link clients to appointments and conversations so history and context are in one place.

### 5. Optional

* **Appointments / Calendar** — Start creating appointments and use reminders or workflows.
* **Invite teammates** — **Settings** → **Team** or **Invitations**; add members and roles.
* **Integrations** — Connect Stripe, calendar, or SMS in **Settings** if enabled.
