# Add chat to your website

> Put your agent on your website, behind a link or a QR code, and make it look like your brand.

## Put it live

  <Step title="Enable the agent">
    Open your agent → **Deploy** → **Enable agent**.

  <Step title="Pick how customers reach it">
    Under **Channels** → **Web Chat**:

    * **Embed code**: **Copy** it and paste it before `</body>` on your website. A chat bubble appears in the corner.
    * **Share link**: a chat page you can send by email, WhatsApp or SMS, or put in your social bio.
    * **QR code**: **View** it and print it on a counter card, a receipt or a parcel label.

    Open your website (or the link) in a private window and send a question.

  Using a website builder (WordPress, Wix, Webflow)? Paste the embed code in its "custom code" or "footer scripts" setting.

## Customize the chat

Open the agent → **Persona** → **Widget**. You see a **Live preview** as you change things, and everything saves automatically.

| Section | What you can set |
| - | - |
| **Appearance** | **Logo** (the agent's mark, your organization's logo, or your own upload), a **Greeting** in English and in French, and a **Header color**. |
| **Visitor form** | Ask for **Name**, **Email** and **Phone number** before the first message, each optional or **Required**. Returning visitors skip it. |
| **Verification** | Check visitors' email with a 6-digit code before they chat. Codes are sent from your connected Gmail or Microsoft account, or your own SMTP server. Click **Send test** to try it. |

Only the agent's creator, or an owner, admin or manager, can change the widget.
