# Test and improve

> Chat with your agent, rate its answers and teach it lessons.

Open an agent and go to **Playground**. Type in **Chat with your agent** as a customer would.

Each reply shows the sources it used. On wide screens, the panel on the right shows the tools it called, the passages it read and how long it took.

## Rate answers

Under each reply:

* **Good answer**: saved straight away.
* **Bad answer**: say **What went wrong?** (**Wrong or missing information**, **Wrong tone**, **Should have handed over**, **Wrong language**) and **What should it have done?**, then **Save feedback**.

## Teach the agent

After a bad answer, click **Teach the agent**. Studio drafts a **lesson** from your feedback, as **When** this happens, **Then** do this. Edit it, then:

* Owners and admins: **Save and apply**. New conversations use it immediately.
* Other members: **Submit for approval**. An owner or admin approves or rejects it.

Lessons refine the agent's instructions and never override them. Every change creates a version you can restore from **History**. Studio warns you when a lesson may conflict with the agent's rules.

<Tip>
  Test with the questions your customers really ask, word for word, including the short and misspelled ones.
